Fire Station 5, Stuttgart-Möhringen

Multi-Use Rooftop with Added Value

The new Fire Station 5 in Stuttgart-Möhringen sets a new benchmark for functional design and livability. With more than 9,000 square meters of usable space, the compact, ring-shaped building with a central courtyard accommodates both the professional and volunteer fire departments while providing thoughtfully designed areas for exercise, interaction, and relaxation.

A standout feature of the building is the extensive rooftop design. Equipped with large-scale photovoltaic systems and a green roof, it contributes to sustainability, climate resilience, and resource conservation.
We also created a dynamic recreational zone that goes beyond mere functionality: a multi-purpose sports court encourages physical activity outdoors, while a 12-meter climbing tower serves both as a training facility and an engaging experience space.
For quieter moments, a spacious wooden terrace offers sweeping views beyond the Stuttgart city limits—an inviting place to unwind, connect, and recharge. Our design is rounded out by a safety-conscious layout for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
